There is nothing worse than taking a picture of an item to sell online and having the background distract from the visual image. Instead of taking pictures of things sitting on the floor in your home, you can use photo cubes to give you a blank background. This removes the issue of shadows making your items look broken and stops that old stain from making your vase look like it is leaking.
How Big Should my Photo Cubes Be?
Your photo cubes should be large enough to hold the entire item with room around the outside for light to hit all parts of your object. The focus of your picture should not be touching the sides or top of your cube and should allow enough light to enter the cube to remove shadows. You can position the lights to highlight almost any type of item as long as you have enough room for the light to penetrate.
