Christmas is a time to build memories so we have to look our most beautiful. Winter makeup, styles and trends are not the same as Fall, Spring, or Summer colors. Depending on the fashion, your color palette can change the entire look of your style of outfit. This winter 2021, let’s take color and design into consideration! Take a look at these popular Christmas makeup styles and add them to your personal style! Let’s add them to our styles: 

Start With a Blue Base 

To create the perfect “Sally” look, you have to start off with a creamy blue base. Take a blue cream product such as a Wet n Wild Paint Palette or Rubie’s Costume Co Blue Cream Makeup to create a pasty undead look. If you can not find a shade that you like, consider using a sponge to blend a white face paint with a darker blue to get a darker blue until you get your desired evenness.

Define Eyebrows into a Specific Shape 

After you’ve placed your blue base and set it to dry for a minute or two then it is time to focus on the eyebrows. The character Sally does not have strong eyebrows. Therefore the key to creating the perfect look is key. Take a lightly colored pencil and color over your eyebrow. 

Blue Shadow to Contour  

Adding some blue contour will add some depth to your makeup. Add some shade around your eyebrow, temples, down the sides of the nose, underneath the jaw line, and along the hollows sides of the cheeks. 

Big Eyes 

Sally is known for her humongous doll eyes. There are a few products that you need to get your eyes to look as large and doll-like as Sally’s. Take a darker blue shade and apply it directly into the creases of your face. The more you add, the scarier you are! Line the color across the lower lash then finish with shadowing across the eyelid. 

 Draw On A Smile 

To create an unforgettable grin, add stitches to either side of the mouth. To do this, you will need the same products and tools as before. Use a black liner to extend your smile in an upward direction. Then draw on lines and X marks in whatever order or pattern you prefer.

After the eyeliner has dried, it is time to add on those fabulous highlights. Take white cream makeup and a detail brush - and give each stitch that extra pop. It is important to do the stitches around the mouth before applying any lip products. This will help you avoid unwanted transferring.

Take a beautiful drive through adventure Christmas Tree Lane this winter as the drive through is open until January 7th. 

South Coast Botanic Garden’s GLOW. This twinkly adventure is an amazing after-hours walking tour. Beginning right after Thanksgiving this magical park is a multicolored garden of bright lights, nature, and beauty that is a must see! 

Beverly Hills. The Beverly Hill Christmas Lights are only comparable to that of Time’s Square. If you enjoy the city, shopping, delicious restaurants, and the high energy vibe of happy tourists then you have to make a stop at Beverly Hills. Take the time out to view our beautiful city at it’s most beautiful time of year.

Vegan Deep-Fried Mozzarella Discs

Ingredients:

• 1 cup flour
• 1 cup nondairy milk
• 1 cup breadcrumbs

• Oil, for frying
• Optional garnish: 6 sprigs parsley
• 1 cup marinara sauce
• 1 pkg.  Classic MozzaRisella, cut into 6 slices

Directions:

Step 1: Separate flor, milk, and breadcrumbs into 3 separate bowls 

Step 2: Carefully take the MozzaRissella and evenly coat it in flour, the in the nondairy milk, and finally in the breadcrumbs. 

Step 3: Heat oil in deep fryer to 375°F.

Step 4: Fry for 3-5 minutes or until golden brown 

Step 5: Drain on paper towel for 5-10 minutes 

Step 6: Sever with parsley and marinara sauce for dipping
