Starting Your New Business with enough Tattoo Supplies

There are several reasons to start a new business, but the main one is that you will be working for yourself.  This is every person’s dream — eliminating a boss who tells him or her how he or she should work.  There is also the satisfaction of making money for yourself and not for other people who profit from your labor.  The problem is that many people do not understand what it takes to start your own business, especially in the world of tattoo artists.  One of the first things you will need is the proper tattoo supplies, so you can start creating art for your clients and making a profit for yourself.

How many Tattoo Supplies should I Purchase for My New Business?

There is no hard and fast rule on how many tattoo supplies you should purchase for your new company.  This is because every parlor has a different number of artists and a different mix of clients.  If your artists are making large, elaborate tattoos, then they will need more ink and needles than someone who specializes in non-color, single line pieces of art.  You should have enough supplies on hand to make 20 to 30 simple tattoos or 10 elaborate designs.  This lets your artists start making money on their art before you have to purchase more supplies.

One of the best ways to meet this criterion is to start by purchasing a tattoo kit that has enough needles, ink and other supplies to create up to 50 tattoos.  Our tattoo kits also come with one or more guns, depending on how many you need for your new business.  You should always have at least one gun for every artist, and, depending on the number of clients, one or two extras in case one needs to be shipped out for repairs.
