Yes. Car side awnings mount to a rooftop rail. Check these requirements before purchasing:
- Rail gap from roof: at least 13/16" (2 cm).
- Rail width: no wider than 3 3/8" (8.5 cm).
- Bracket spacing: varies by size (from 27 9/16" up to 49 3/16").
How do I mount a car awning on my vehicle?
Attach the included brackets to your roof rail and fix the awning frame onto them. Extend the telescoping poles to your preferred height using the twist-lock, then secure guy ropes to the ground. Replacement kits for Awning Hardware & Brackets are also available.
How durable are car side awnings for outdoor use?
The frames are aluminum alloy with stainless steel hardware for rust resistance. All fabric is rated UV50+ with PU2,000mm water resistance to handle various weather conditions.
