Beginner’s Pole Dancing Tips

Well, everyone had to begin somewhere. In this article, we’re going to talk to you about our favorite beginner’s pole dancing tips and tricks.
The Walk Around
This is the most basic dance move but there is an art and grace to it. Hold on to the pole with one hand and practice walking around your pole a few times. Get comfortable with your distance around your pole. You want to be close enough to be able to hook your leg around at any point. Learning how to walk around your pole is a great way to help get your muscles conditioned.
This move is essential to adding other moves to your routines so it is important that you get it right early on. Tightly grip the pole in between your thighs and lock the feet at your ankles. It may take you a while to build up the muscles in your legs for this move to be less painful but it is worth it. Eventually, you should be able to hold on to the pole without your hands.
This is a very classic and basic spinning move. You can learn this move in only a first few tries. Start by building momentum by walking around the pole once holding on with your dominant hand. When you are where you started grab on with your other hand and hop. Lock your knees together and allow yourself to do a full swing around the pole.
